It is a HUMAN Recombinant Protein, engineered by isolating the Human TGF genes in a test tube (similar to human recombinant insulin)

It is an ultra-pure compound with the same structure and efficacy as that found within the human body. It is NOT isolated from human tissue, nor a spent human cell culture medium, which abrogates possible concern over contamination with human factors or other agents

TGF Strengthens and rebuilds the dermal layer of the skin by increasing the number of dermal cells (fibroblasts) and  stimulating the production of Extra-Cellular-Matrix materials. 

TGF mainly targets the underlying dermal layer of the skin. Changes (thinning) to the dermal layer due to age and weathering are the cause of lines and wrinkles. TGF specifically helps repopulate the underlying dermal tissue with new cells. TGF directly causes the expression of various matrix compounds (collagens and proteoglycans) that both hydrate and regenerate the dermal structure, thereby decreasing lines and wrinkles.
